This Resource Pack has been written so that it is useful for both new and experienced Chairs, however, the main aim of the Pack is clearly to help Chairpersons who are new to small voluntary organisations, often without paid staff.

The CHAIR pack has been designed to be an easy and quick reference for basic questions and also covers self-assessment

This Pack is a necessary and practical reminder that Chairs of all voluntary organisations have training needs of their own which are just as important as those of their paid staff and front line volunteers.
